[Chris Willis]

Hi everybody I’m Chris Willis, the co-practice leader of Troutman Pepper’s Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Practice, and I’m proud to announce that our Podcast, The Consumer Finance Podcast, is launching a week from today. We want to do this Podcast because it’s a great way for us to share our knowledge and insights with you, to keep you updated on current events that are going in the industry, and to discuss what we think are the issues of importance for the consumer financial services marketplace. I’m also really happy because it gives me the opportunity to show the world the breadth of our Consumer Finance team at Troutman Pepper and showcase the tremendous range of capabilities we have and to introduce you to a lot of my colleagues and you’ll be hearing them on the Podcast. Of course we’ll also occasionally have outside guests to participate in the Podcast as well. And just to give you a sneak preview of some of our upcoming episodes, we have a great discussion on ADA Website accessibility, both regulatory developments and litigation, with my partner Lori Somerfield, and we also have a fascinating conversation that we’re going to be releasing on cryptocurrency with my partners Keith Barnett and Ethan Ostroff. Now we’re going to keep the episodes short so that they’re easy for you to listen to while you’re commuting or working out or anything else, and of course they're going to be available on all major Podcast platforms. The episodes are going to come out every Thursday afternoon, and don’t forget that this is going to be in addition to our other thought leadership channels. We of course have our blog, ConsumerFinancialServicesLawMonitor.com, we regularly put on webinars for members of the industry, we send out email alerts and we have another Podcast already running, the Monthly FCRA Focus that focuses of course on the Fair Credit Reporting Act. So please subscribe to this Podcast so you don’t miss our upcoming episodes and visit us at ConsumerFinancialServicesLawMonitor.com and Troutman.com where you can subscribe to our blog and put yourself on our consumer financial services email list. So stay tuned, make sure you subscribe to the Podcast, and we’ll look forward to seeing you every Thursday.
